Does RTE remanufacture Thermo King and Carrier controllers?
Yes, we remanufacture both Thermo King and Carrier reefer controllers and Daikin too! But some controller models are no longer supported. You can research our current reman catalog in the RTE remanufacturing page, or you can contact us directly with a specific question or a quote. We’d love to hear from you.
Does RTE sell replacement parts for my reefer controller?
Maintenance is critical for the long-term success of any equipment, especially those used in refrigerated transport. And we understand that sometimes it’s just better to do the repairs yourself. For this reason, we pack our stockrooms with keypads, sensors, relays, and other parts and accessories designed for use in Thermo King and Carrier reefer controllers. How long does it take once RTE receives it?
We aim for a fast 5-day turnaround on most remanufacturing jobs. Need it sooner? Expedited service is available for an additional fee. If delays pop up, we’ll keep you in the loop—no surprises, just straight answers.
What payment methods do you accept?
For customers using our RTE New York, USA: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex for credit card payments. Plus, we use PayPal too. Our shipping department will advise when the part is repaired and ready to ship. Then we’ll contact you to confirm the payment method before shipping. Are remanufactured control boards and controllers available for sale?
Remanufactured cores do become available from time to time. But the supply is often limited. And if we don’t have what you need in inventory, the good news is that we may be able to repair the board or controller that you have for less money than replacing with a new part. So please send us an email with what you need. We’ll help you either way.
What is the warranty on a remanufactured part?
Are remanufactured controllers as good as OEM?

Do you offer International Shipping?
What does it cost to remanufacture a reefer controller?
Most reman services are between $150 and $300. To get you a quote for your specific request, please provide us with the exact part number, if possible. Model numbers like the Thermo King SR2 Interface Board or a Carrier MicroLink 3 Controller are helpful. But each one has several different part numbers. Some part numbers may not be serviceable, so understanding which part number you have is relevant. If you have questions, please ask and we’ll help you out.

FILL OUT the forms in your browser, PRINT or SAVE to PDF, and send them to us in the same box as your repair item.
More than one item for repair? Combine items in a box for efficiency, but please include a completed SERVICE REQUEST FORM for each item. Regardless of the number of parts sent to us, only one CUSTOMER ACCOUNT CREATION FORM is required.
